If my pet got to choose a couple of super powers I think it would be shape shifting and super speed.
I think he would use his shape shifting so he could do things like be a falcon or a lazy dog. The reason why he would be a dog is because then he could

For his super speed I think the main thing he would use it for would be hunting because then it would be really easy to catch whatever he would like, without having to take that long. But he would probaly use it to steal food of the table in the blink of an eye then run away so nobody could take it of him. And the other reason would be to get the sunniest places on the propety so he could just chillax.
