Milk bottle project

Milk bottle homework project
For the last week Whetu has been doing a milk bottle homework project. My idea is to do the Titanic sinking but only showing half of the boat. I also would like to make it 3D so it is not just like a piece of drawing.

I have not started it but I have got the materials for the project and I also have done some drawing on what it is supposed to look like and what I would like it to look like.

For our project we can use as many milk bottles as we would like 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 100 the list goes on. You can cut your milk bottles or you can leave it how it is and add changes.

The Kaikoura earthquake

The Kaikoura earthquake
On the 14th of November there was an earthquake at 12.02 pm and it was a 7.8 magnitude earthquake it destroyed lots of power lines, roads and houses.
But we are still lucky because 5 years ago the Christchurch earthquake killed 185 people but this one killed 2 people one had a heart ‘attack then the other one was crushed by a building.
After the earthquake there were more than 250 aftershocks occurring over the whole of New Zealand. When the earthquake occurred I thought it was just the cats fighting and smashing into the walls and my door, but I was too tired to find out so I just went back to sleep.
Thousands of crayfish and shellfish have been destroyed and their homes have also been destroyed by the earthquake, because the seabed has been raised by 2 whole metres. Down below is a picture of the seabed being raised by 2 metres.
