Labour Day
On the fourth Monday in October is Labour day it is a public holiday. The first official Labour day was celebrated on the second Wednesday in October in the 1900. We celebrate Labour day because in the 19th century New Zealand tried to claim the right for an 8 hour working day. In 1840 a carpenter called Samuel Parnell fought for this right and won. What did I do during Labour weekend I don’t know what to say so I had fun. In the weekend my cousin Elijah came and my uncle and aunty came we played with the cars mostly and for dinner we had lamb roast and literally the best ribs I have ever tasted. And we watched the All Blacks get some ridiculous tries. THE END
