How do people celebrate Easter

How do people celebrate Easter
On March 27th on Sunday known as Easter Sunday some people celebrate and others do not celebrate it.  As for my family we celebrate it.

Easter will always fall between March 22nd and April the 25Th.
Nearly 90 million Easter bunnies are made every single Easter!!!!

Did you know that the word Easter comes from the Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring called ‘Eostroe’. She symbolized the hare and the egg.

And not everyone celebrates Easter because they do not believe in Jesus Christ.

Eggs are a symbol of new birth and spring a lot of people will give chocolate eggs as gifts for Easter.  Years ago people would give each other real eggs which were painted all sorts of different colours.

Good Friday is about the day Jesus was put on the cross and when he died.  Easter Sunday is about when Jesus rose from the dead and came back to life. On hot cross buns the line represents the cross Jesus was nailed to.

My family celebrate Easter when the Easter Bunny comes and gives the clues to dad and then at the end we find the eggs and we eat hot cross buns.

All about me

                                      To Mrs lindsay

I was born in Auckland as the second child Michael 3 years older than me. I lived in Chatswood down the street called Ravenstone our house was a two story house painted white.  I went to Chelsea primary school
for 2 years and we lived in Chatswood for three years. Before I went school I went to a kindy that was right by our school field and with my friend at kindy we used to play fight. I liked it up in Auckland how me and mike could just walk to the mall and get toys and go to get food. then know I think I will tell you about school. when I first started. I had a buddy called luca how was my first friend at school and he is still my friend know. when I was a year one I was in a class by  the sandpit and was in class 18 when I was a year 2 I was In two classes one after morning tea and one in the morning and we did swimming in the school pool. know I am going to tell you about my house at my house we lived by a forest and had bridge going to our tree-house it had a platform then pieces of wood  connected to the tree. To go to the tree-house it was quite tall so you would not hit your your head.   know I am going to talk about the moving start off It started when my dad said a year before I want to live in the country. Then it all started when dad and mum were talking about it and making arrangements about a month we chose the house. We had a massive going party when my friends brother and my cousins were having this brain freeze competition. and I won some and lost some. We had a lot of fun!!! We were moving the things in the moving truck we had to go around the house and there was these outside rooms that me and mike would have when we moved in  when we came in it  was really like foggy since they hadn't opened the room for about a year or two  then when we went back in the car we knew that was the house. We were going to buy when we brought it my dad was painting my room blue and the were turning one of the shed  into the gym/ bar/office  when my dad had finished doing the painting of the room he was vanishing the floor  when we were done me and mike moved in And there was like a playhouse outside as well  that was painted green but after about 2 years of living here we have painted it and are putting a slide on it. And with a playing bit out back that we call the cricket pitch but we have two forests by our house 1 called magpie hills because all the magpies go there one my dad shot a magpie in the wing. What does it do swoop down into hills so that is why we call it that. the next forest we just call it a forest but in the forest  we went thru with me and mike having a sickle dad having a hatchet and we cut down tall weeds and small overgrown branches and saw an owl which was surprising since it was around midday and there was a tree with a really thick trunk. and by our house we had a tree witch was massive and would of fell on our house if we did not cut it down. It was awesome to see the tree fall down and as it clumped making marks in the ground. I liked it but it had three thick branches that were like the size of a normal tree each one. I liked it was actually quite fun watching he had a scooper and the man had to sit in at times.when he was chaining the tree to make it fall down. know I am going to tell you about chelsea it had a massive slide. like the big blue just longer and it was not twirly. and there was a playground for year threes and above but i was not aloud since i was a year 2  but after school when your parent was watching you could I remember. that me and mike used to walk home normally every day unless it was bad weather. It was fun walking home sometimes because we could run down the hill. Know last of all i am going to tell you what i enjoy doing in and out of school. I like reading most of all for school and writing than maths. And out of school I like doing sports like cricket, rugby and more and I like running and bouncing on the tramp at home. with also going on farm walks and going on bikes. But doing jumps is not my cup of tea because last time I did like a wheelie in the air and flipped in the air over the handlebars landing with the bike behind me. It was really painful but I did not cry. That's the story of me
